Our story
From a home studio to Glasgow St
Alyssa started Sweet Beauty because so many people couldn’t find a beauty space where they felt truly safe and welcome. So she built one.
2019
It starts at homeAlyssa begins offering beauty services from her home, driven by a love for helping clients feel confident and celebrated.
2020
A space of our ownIn January, Sweet Beauty moves into its first one room studio. By September, it grows into a bigger space on Lancaster St.
2022
The team growsSarah M joins in August and Sarah E follows in December, bringing new services and big personalities.
2024
Our home on Glasgow StIn November, we move into a larger, cozier studio that better fits the warm, welcoming feel our clients love.
2025
Welcome, AimeeAimee joins the team in September, adding her calm, detail oriented touch.

Every body is different, and so is every esthetician’s rhythm. Your Brazilian might take 10 minutes or 30, but the result is always the same: not a hair in sight. We keep it that way with team training days, where we practice on each other and share what works.

Alyssa Jeffrey
Owner & Esthetician
I started my journey in the beauty industry nearly 10 years ago, and Sweet Beauty has grown into everything I once dreamed of. To me, esthetics is about the experience: the little details, the conversations, and the feeling you get when you finally take a moment for yourself.
Just as important is what happens behind the scenes. Sweet Beauty was built to be a space where the estheticians working here feel supported, valued, and genuinely cared for.
Outside of SBE, I share life with my partner Ben, our daughter, and my younger kid sister, both of whom you may see around the shop from time to time.
Sweet Beauty is so much more than a business. It’s my second home, built with intention, heart, and an incredible team. Thank you for being part of it 🤍
Sarah Mills
Esthetician
I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2015, starting with body sugaring while I finished nursing school. What I love most is connecting with clients and seeing their confidence glow, whether it’s fresh lifted lashes or a sun kissed spray tan.
I became a Registered Practical Nurse in 2020 and worked in home care before joining Sweet Beauty in 2022. That nursing background means I’m all about clean, careful, detail focused care, and it’s a big part of why I love doing ear piercings.
Outside the studio, you’ll find me with my two skinny pigs, Olive and Ruby, re-watching Grey’s Anatomy with a stash of gummy bears, or cross-stitching. You can even find some of my work for sale at the shop!
Sarah Ellard
Esthetician
My passion is creating tailored experiences that leave clients feeling confident, cared for, and completely at ease. My goal is simple: you leave happier than when you arrived, and you look forward to coming back.
I strive to make every visit feel like a safe space, whether I’m shaping brows, lifting lashes, or helping you relax during a vajacial.
Outside the studio, I spend time with my big family of nine siblings and my beloved cat. I’m happiest when I’m moving: yoga, pilates, running (I’ve completed a half marathon!), playing hockey, or snowboarding.
Aimee Cornish
Esthetician
I’ve always loved helping people feel confident and cared for. My approach is calm, detail oriented, and focused on making every appointment feel relaxing, especially for first timers.
Outside the studio, I’m a proud mom of two teenagers and love spending time with my family, visiting local favourites like Gyubee, and sipping a Starbucks chai latte.
Fun fact: Alyssa and I met years ago when I became her nail tech, and she still drives all the way to Cambridge to see me!

We care about our team, so our hours flex with their schedules and can change from week to week. We’re usually closed on long weekend Saturdays too, unless the team decides to pick up a shift.
All services are by appointment only. Our online booking always shows real time availability, so please book ahead. We can rarely take walk ins, but you’re welcome to text us to check.
