A standard tan develops over 8 to 12 hours, so many clients sleep in it. Rapid develops in 1 to 5 hours: rinse sooner for a lighter shade, or wait longer for deeper colour.
Contouring adds deeper colour to specific areas to create the look of more definition, like sculpted abs, a lifted look on your glutes, or defined collarbones. Add a single area for $7, or choose 2 to 3 areas with a Mini Contour for $20.
Book your tan 1 to 2 days before your event. Your colour will be fully developed and you’ll have time for your first rinse.
Wax or sugar at least 24 hours before your tan, and shave the day before. Hair removal after your tan can take colour with it.
Wear loose, dark clothing and slip on shoes to your appointment. During your tan, wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Many clients choose dark underwear or a bathing suit.
Skip workouts, hot yoga, and anything that makes you sweat until after your first rinse. Sweat can cause streaks while your tan develops.
Yes, and you should! A spray tan doesn’t protect you from the sun. We carry Colorescience sunscreen that’s spray tan safe.
