Inverness is a gentle ear piercing method that uses a hand pressured instrument and sterile, pre-sealed earrings. There’s no piercing gun and no loud click, which makes it a calm experience for all ages.
Yes. Each earring comes in a fully enclosed, sterile cartridge, so it’s never touched by hand during your piercing. The system is gentle and never uses a piercing gun.

Most clients describe a quick pinch or a little pressure, and it’s over in a second. Lobes may feel warm or tender for a day or two afterward.
Yes, we pierce ears for babies as young as 3 months. A parent or guardian must be present for anyone under 18.
For little ones who might not sit still for a second ear, many families choose dual piercing so both ears are done at the same time. Come fed and rested, and bring a favourite toy or snack.

Healing is different for everyone, but ear lobes usually take about 6 to 8 weeks. After that you can switch earrings, but keep earrings in most of the time for the next several months so your piercings don’t close.
Absolutely. To make sure we have your favourites ready, leave a note on your appointment with your top 2 or 3 choices and we’ll do our very best to have them on hand.
No. For safety, we only pierce with our own sterile, pre-sealed Inverness earrings. Once you’re healed, you can wear any earrings you love.
We pierce ear lobes only. If you’re hoping for more than one piercing per lobe, add a note when you book and we’ll talk through the best approach for your ears.
If you notice excessive redness, swelling, or discharge, contact us right away, and see a healthcare provider if you think your piercing may be infected. Following your aftercare closely is the best way to prevent problems.
